I'm Jonathan Young, a software engineer / entrepreneur who loves building cool stuff.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me at the gym training for an Ironman, on the ice playing hockey, relaxing with a good book, or I'm locked into some random new interest.

I recently graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in Computer Science with a Management Studies Concentration. I am currently a Software Engineer at US Bank based in Minneapolis, MN.
The most recent side project I've been working on is Eighty Hard. My friend's and I created a challenge similar to 75 Hard and we needed a way to track our progress. So, I built an iOS app to help us do just that.
I also created another app called QuoteFlow. It's an app for book lovers and quote enthusiasts to track their books and favorite quotes all in one place. It's free on the App Store, so check it out!
I love building iOS apps, websites, and web applications.
I work out at 5:00 AM most mornings and I'm training for my first Ironman.
I enjoy graphic design and I use Illustrator for various projects.
Current Role
I'm part of the rotational engineering program at US Bank. My work involves API development using Java and Spring Boot, as well as front-end development with React.
St. Olaf College
Studied computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and software engineering principles. I was the captain of the Men's Hockey team and won the MIAC Championship twice.
The Beginning
Started my coding journey and fell in love with problem-solving and building cool things.

I'm always interested in discussing new opportunities, sharing ideas, or just having a good conversation.
